Whether you are looking to improve your own mental health, or find tools to help your spouse or children, DCoE has a resource ready to help.

  • AfterDeployment (link is external): If you have ever deployed, you know that returning home can mean new challenges. AfterDeployment has assessments, videos, blog posts and other resources to address problems service members may face following deployment. Topics include sleep issues, substance use and depression.
  • Real Warriors (link is external): Real Warriors is an anti-stigma campaign that encourages service members and families to reach out for help with mental health challenges. This effort emphasizes how reaching out is an important show of strength for a service member. The website is full of useful articles, resources, videos and more.
  • MilitaryKidsConnect (link is external): Military Kids Connect website provides a social network for military children to share their unique experiences and tips for coping with deployments, frequent moves and other challenges. There’s also a section for parents and teachers to learn more about how to support their military kids.
  • Sesame Street for Military Families (link is external): DCoE works with Sesame Street Workshop to offer resources for military families. The website offers resources for parents and children to help cope with the challenges specific to life in the military. Learn how our youngest service members can engage with Muppet pals to help make transitions easier.
